Default A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Showdown (AKA thank you WPT)

3/6/12 live game. Flop and turn are standard 3/6, on the river you have the option of betting 6 or 12. Table is loose, passive.

Few limpers to me in the BB. I check my option with KQo.

Flop: K74r
I bet, 1 EP caller, loose but passive MP raises, folded to me I 3-bet, both call.

Turn: K
I bet, EP calls, MP raises, I call, EP calls. I'm almost certain I'm behind to MP here.

River: 8 no flush
I check, EP bets(??), MP calls all-in. I'm debating my play when MP flips his cards over, K4 for the boat. The dealer tells him he can't show his hand. "But I'm all-in", he explains. "When you're all-in you show your cards", he continues. The dealer explains that there is another player yet to act. They continue to argue for a while. It's clear that the dealer isn't going to kill his hand so as they argue I silently slip my cards into the muck. EP had 88 for the rivered boat. MP finally agrees not to show his cards anymore but continues to mutter under his breath "but I was all-in".
