Liquor/Wine/Beer FAQs, Websites, and Books
Seeing as there about a trillion posts a day on assorted alchohol related beverages, where is all this info comming from, that answers these posts? I would like to know everything about all three of those subjects. Basically, where do I go to become a connoisseur.

Get the Wine Avenger by William Gluckstern. Avoid all the snobby wine guides. This one gives you what you need to know. And of course, start drinking.

The Joy of Mixology, by Gary Regan.
American Bar, by Charles Schumann. The Craft of the Cocktail, by Dale Degroff After those, consider Cocktail by Paul Harrington. You can learn a lot about liquor and wine by going to a good liquor store and talking to the staff. |
