Default AKo- keep pushing?

Having trouble with AKo. Particularly when I get heads up and don't hit on the flop. I am trying to get a feel for when to keep pushing and when to fold. THere's nothing remarkable about the following hand, but it somewhat illustrates the situation I am talking about.

Thanks in advance for the (constructive) criticism. I have been reading a while and am looking forward to posting some hands as I go forward.

You raised on the flop for a free card (I hope). You got your free card, now you must take it. Some percentage of the time you will have to call the river with ace high after checking behind on the turn. This situation is not one of them, as the context of the board makes it too likely he has paired.

The river is, of course, a fold.

Had you not been bet into on the flop, I could see betting the turn. But his flop bet means he's got something.

Raising the flop is fine. But as DeathDonkey said, use it to take your free card.

Had your opponent checked the flop, betting the turn is mandatory because ...

1. You might still have the best hand.

2. You've got 10 outs to what should be the best hand, three of which are to the nuts. This would be for value, especially against a loose player who would play anything.
