Default Palace Station Las Vegas Offering Sick Bonus!

Thought some 2+2'ers might be interested in this.

Palace Station in Las Vegas, the old school Station-owned casino located near Sahara Ave. and I-15 is offering a really ridiculous promotion to celebrate the opening of its new poker room this week.

Palace Station is giving away $500 per hour to a random poker player, each hour, for the next 7 days or so. The promotion takes place between 12pm-8pm (not including the weekend). All you have to do to qualify is be sitting at a table, even $2/4, when they pull the lucky winner.. They will pick a table and seat number at random.

If you have time to check it out, then good luck!

When does it open and can you win more than once?

They did, it must be an expansion. The last room which I played in once had about 5 tables.

They did, and its been the same room for 20+ years with 7 or 8 tables. I guess they are jumping it up a bit to compete with the other locals joints. The Orleans has taken most of their business with their crappy tournament structure, huge fields, and only paying final 9 players no matter how big it gets. (seen over 180 and still 9 get paid).

I think it's a great move for Stations to improve their poker rooms. Go figure, GVR is only a TEMPORARY room and that is one of the nicest looking and most comfortable rooms in town.

Yes, Palace Station remodeled their room. It is now 10 tables. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to check it out this week. All this info was however confirmed by a Palace Station rep over the phone today.

So you probably have about a 1 in 16 chance of winning the noon drawing

They (PS) have had 9 tables for years. They now have 10 tables. Wow. It is a bit brighter and more cheerful looking in there though.

They also are giving away money during graveyard. 3 per night on graveyard until the 15th when the promo ends.

FWIW, when I asked them if this promo money was coming from the stud jackpot (which is what I suspected), they told me that is exactly where the money is coming from. They got rid of their stud jackpot.

Best of Luck

Howard

I haven't had a chance to check out the new PS room, but the old PS room probably looked a lot like what a poker room would look like if it were inside a penitentiary - such as the bars on the windows.

There is no "New" poker room as far as I can see (and I just came from there). Just cleaner and brighter (oh yes and one new table LOL). If you want to call that a "new" room, then whatever.

The place Does looks nicer then before.

Best Wishes

Howard
