The Democrats in NYC should really just pick 1 or 2 candidates and run with it. The primary will lead to a run-off, there will be viscous attacks between the two remaining candidates, and one bruised and beaten contender will emerge with 6 weeks and little money to fight a well-funded incumbent mayor. Same reason Bloomberg won in 2002.
