Always tough without a read. The only hand I think you fear here is 99 with the mini-raise, and that seems like a bad play. So considering that I'd call. Everything else seems unlikely. More reasonable is villian has KQs or something stupid like that.

There's no way KQ check-calls til the river and then jams. I had him on a minraised PP. Either 88 or 99. There is a tiny chance he had the straight, but I don't think so. Also tiny chance he's bluffing with busted JTs draw. Very tiny.

Out of curiosity why didn't you reraise preflop?
BTW I think that was a good laydown...

Both seem equally unlikely. Meaning we could make a case for why both 99 or KQs are probable. The only reason why I like the call until the river and jam with KQ is because it's something I would do against a thinking opponent. Without a read it's tough to say how sophisticated the player is. You're probably right though, but a pre-flop re-raise would have answered a few questions - I mean you have a big field and you flat call.

How is a preflop raise followed by check-call, check-call, all in unlikely for a full house?

Oh, forgot to ask... would you have called half pot sized bet? How would you have played the river if you held pocket 99's?
