Default AQ hand

Party 2/4 10 handed

Hip is CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Table is routinely seeing 5-6 to the flop. Pretty passive. Good table so far. The two villians on my left keep cold calling me with anything

3 limpers, Hip raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, limpers all call.

Flop (7 players) 14SB

Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Limpers check, Hip bets, Button raises, SB calls, BB folds, Limpers fold, Hip 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn (3 players) 11.5 BB

8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hip bets, Button calls, SB calls.

River (3 players) 14.5 BB

K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Whats your play in this large large pot?

Check-call. That king was probably the worst card to see on the river. If it was just heads up with the button I'd bet it, but I'm checking as the sb has been cold calling with a probable hand that just rivered you. That King is too likely to complete a strait or make a pair of kings.

Large pot absolutly. Small pot I think it can be close either/or (checking or betting that is) -- but pot is large and you are ahead a majority of the time.

If it's raised by the button, and SB calls, do I overcall?

If it's called by button, and raised by SB, do i call then?

Just not sure about this hand at all.

Id be more inclined call as the pot would be 20BB when it gets back to me raised. Button could just be screwing around, or he could have KQ, either way I think u are good here a majority.

I'm such a calling station on the river...If it's raised by either one of them, im calling.

If you aren't going to call a raise on the river, then why bet?

EDIT: I know sometimes it's correcto to bet/fold...but I don't think so in this scenario.

This is absolutly true, and in a more direct way, the point I wanted to make.

If u dont know what you are going to do if u get raised, then dont bet. If u are going to call a bet u might as well be the one betting, but before u do it, have a plan...if you are afraid of the raise dont bet (I think its weak, but if you dont know whether to call or fold then check.)

Because you'll be paid off by worse hands.
