Default Passive Fun with a Set (check my autopilot)

Playing a tournament, decided to play one cash table as well. First hand at the new table. My main concerns are PF and the river.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls, 1 fold, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Raise for value here? I have four opponents that aren't going anywhere. Give me some math here.

Flop: (5 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP3 folds, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, Button calls, SB calls.

River: (8.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 bets, Button calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

I couldn't fold here, but couldn't find a bet either. Critique the river.

Final Pot: 11.50 BB

This may seem like a no brainer hand. The reason I am posting it is more for my heat of battle decisions, especially when most of my attention is on the other tourney table.

preflop i usually wont raise this out of the big blind, id rather keep the pot small and get them to fold the flop or turn if their overs dont hit/ give them incorrect odds to draw. I think you need to bet that river- when you checked i called you a sly bastard thinking you'd be going for the c/r but it didn't happen.

hmmm... i don't mind the way this is played because most aces will bet this after you check, but I might have value bet the river because those aces will call you as well. I don't think it's correct to assume somebody's hit their flush but please correct me if i'm wrong.

what's your plan if it's bet and raised back to you after you check?

I don't want to do math, so I won't talk about preflop.

If you were going to get cute, anywhere, I'd do it on the flop...c/r an EP bet or something. Or check, then c/r the river.

Why couldn't you find a raise on the river, again? I can't believe that you were lucky enough that some dumbass bet it for you, but that's poker...raise that mutha!

Nobody has said they have a flush, but nobody has said they don't have it. Nevertheless I think I value-bet the river and call a raise.

Read dependant, but I probably at least consider check-raising this flop.

Bozlax,
On this hand, how can we raise here?
On the river I can see a bet/call,
But not a check/raise.
Seems like spewing, doesn't it?

I don't like checkraising here on the flop unless the bet comes from one of the first two players on my left because I feel that it scares weak draws in a small pot when I hold a very strong hand. Thoughts?

what makes you think it's spewing? we haven't been pushed back once and he only bet after we had checked.

MP1 didn't have a flush to push back with until now. Most players don't know to raise their draws. If I make my flush on the river and the guy I was planning to raise just checks, I'm going to have to bet it myself. I think we have enough equity to call but I don't know that we're ahead. I'm just interested to hear arguments.

Where is my bet going to come from? This would be a bad flop to let get checked through. I think betting out is better here..it is for value.
