I am only working part time this summer I need to start making some real money on poker or cut back on the amount of time I spend playing.

Hi there. My name is Shawn, and I am 34 years old. I live in Tacoma, WA. I am happily married(have been for over 5 years), and we have a crazy 4 year-old son. I currently work in a high-end bedding warehouse, but am a year away from graduating with a Bachelor's in Health Administration. I play online at Fulltiltpoker.com under the name SeattleSpades at microlimit and up to $10 + $1 sit n go's, and I also play at several of the local casinos in tournaments(largest buy-in thus far has been $50.)In addition to the tourneys, I play $3-$6 limit live games. In all honesty, I think it's time I moved up in limit, as I play pretty well, and have done fairly well in tourneys and live games. I average probably 30-40 per hour in live games, and have moneyed in about 10-15 % if the tourneys I've played. However, I don't have much of any disposable income at this time, what with the family, work, school, mortgage, and bills, so playing is purely luxury for me. I've been playing for about 3 years, and am very passionate about poker. My co-worker loves it also, so we spend all day discussing poker. I really only play hold-em, but am curious about other games as well. I am very serious about poker; I think I can make a decent living at it, and desperately want to get to big money tournaments. BTW, it's very cool that you came close to winning a seat at the WSOP. At any rate, let me know if I "qualify", LOL. Thanks a lot, and keep rakin' 'em in.

Shawn aka "SeattleSpades"
