Default Indian Casinos near LA

Im tired of driving to the Chumash. I know there are some others listed that are close by:

linkage

but I've never been to any of them. Im looking for a 1 hour drive maximum, relatively clean, good games, etc. Help me out, people.

where in LA do you live? Morongo is decently close, depending on your location, as well as most of those Inland casinos.

2.5-3 hrs from LA, traffic dependent.

I HIGHLY recommend you go to Aqua Caliente if you are looking in the Palm Springs area. Great games. Clean room. Well run. Just remodeled. I play mostly in LA but have spent alot of time there and think it's one of the better rooms in Southern California though obviously much smaller than those in LA. Their 20/40 Kill game may be one of the greatest games around.

If you live in the greater L.A. area, the you're probably gonna have to drive AT LEAST an hour to 1 1/2 hours to get to places like Morongo, Pechanga and San Manuel. If you can put up with about a 2 hour drive, then I agree with LAtoLV in recommending Agua Caliente. Only a 10 table room, but it's great. I can't speak about the 20/40 game, but the 3/6 (half-kill), 4/8 and 8/16 (full kill for both) games are soft, especially on the weekends.

If you're driving to Palm Springs, Agua Caliente is defintely your best bet. Great games at 3-6, 4-8 and 8-16, all with a kill (they have a 25-50 as well, but I've never played it), and the room is run very well.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Morongo, it has a decent NL game, but it is one of the poorest-run card rooms in Southern California. Not enough dealers, rude management, etc. I think it's due to the fact that since the poker boom, there is a lot more people playing. But, where most rooms try to treat the customers well, Morongo's management looks at you as an inconvenience.

Head for Agua Caliente and you'll have a great experience.

LOL... c'mon surfin, tell us how you REALLY feel.

Egocidal, take a cue from surfin & BabyHuey, avoid Morongo. Room is too small to handle the number of people they get. After the 2 hr. drive to get there, you're usually looking at a 1 hr. wait to get a seat at a table.

Agua Caliente is better. Heck you might even run into Cameron Diaz there. I was there a couple of months ago on a late Sat. night and she was playing poker.

Depending on what part of LA Pechanga might be closer and likely has the largest poker room of any of the Indian casinos at 54 tables.
