Unless you have a fairly strong read that Button is super laggy, I'm probably going to bet/call the turn and call the river UI. I don't like getting 3 bet on this turn.

Pre-flop is obvious

I stay aggressive on the flop but slow down on the turn. Button could be on k/k.

I don't think the j's on the turn and river changed your situation much. Call down on the turn and river.

I don't like the turn check-raise. You want 1-2 BB going in on the turn. Checking opens yourself up to getting three-bet and also opens up the possibility of the turn checking through.

0 or 3 BB on the turn = BAD

1 or 2 BB on the turn = GOOD

So, be straightforward: bet the turn. Call down after as long as no more raising occurs. Be wary of folding here for one bet at any point but if you find yourself having to call two cold you can start thinking about letting your hand go.

I think the turn screwplay (being the last aggressor on the flop and then check-raising the turn) is really best left for heads-up pots and other situations where you have much better control of the action. The pot is so big, and there are so many players, that you are not going to be able to protect your hand here from anything half-legitimate (anyone with outs against you has at least 4 and probably isn't going anywhere). It's best to just play straight up and look at getting to showdown in an "efficient" fashion.

This == perfect.

The turn check raise is horrible, you want to bet and call down if raised.

I don't like the turn Check-Raise. Granted it worked this time, but you need to know that the button is agressive enough to bet if you check after capping the flop.

I like leading the turn, but I don't think your line is bad either.

Getting 3 bet sucks here, but you can't fold

In what sense did it "work"? He got in his raise, yes, but he also got three-bet. That's probably not a desirable outcome, and hence we can think of this as being kind of a failed check-raise.
