Just an idea... Would the casinos be cool with a sponser instead of the rake. Like having a budwiser logo or some banners and they would pay for the rake. I know that is a lot of money but there might be a way to let some random company get enough exposure to make it worth while. What about the budwiser poker room at the Taj. Anything I can't take it anymore. Or at least a portion. I might be willing to pay a fee to get into the cardroom like 5 bucks and then the sponsers pick up the rest for having exclusive access to their demographic for hours on end. any thoughts? bob saget sucks dick for coke

Not a bad idea, but there's no chance it would lead to a direct drop in rake. Stadium naming rights and playing surface ads don't result in drops in ticket prices.

Agreed. In fact, don't casino managers generally dislike poker rooms anyway? Low $/ft^2, high personel costs, etc... If they got a sponsorship like the one you mention, it would probably go to a loose slots promotion, or something like that.
