JJ & TT early on.
I exchanged some HHs with a friend of mine, and this is how he's been playing JJ & TT early on (levels 1 - 3):
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (9 handed) converter MP1 (t1475) MP2 (t800) MP3 (t945) CO (t1225) Button (t370) SB (t785) Hero (t800) UTG (t800) UTG+1 (t800) Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls t15, 4 folds, CO calls t15, 1 fold, SB raises to t200, Hero raises to t800 (All-In). I think this is suicidal (at least at the $11s and $22s). The edge you have later on is too big, you don't need these spots. He thinks it's a +EV play - PT actually shows him gaining chips w/ JJ & TT in levels 1 - 3. My point is that this is +chipEV, -$EV. Anyways... Regardless of who's right or wrong, how do you play JJ & TT in levels 1 -3? Why? |
