Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
Background...
I have been at table for 6 hands and won 3 of them...I must look like a complete laggy-donk running hot...Villain is multi-tabling 13/4 over 34 hands...Previous hand was $375 pot which I won with Qs9s with a turned flush vs turned set which didn't fill... Comments on all streets appreciated.... Re: Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
lead the river for 1/2 or 2/3 pot.
push to a raise. otherwise i like the line - i feel with this hand OOP you've got to give them a card or two to catch up. |

Re: Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
With this backgrond I would bet this flop, maybe even overbet it. Failing to do that, I would bet this turn... I really try to not slowplay more than to the turn because the pot is usually way too small on the river otherwise.
Failing to do that, I c/r this turn hoping he'll have something. As played I bet 20-25 hoping I'll get something out of the hand, might try a larger bet because of your image but that's a feel thing |

Re: Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
I think I like a turn lead here for 1/2 the pot.
Edit: If called, c/r river, but maybe that is too fancy. |

Too bad no high cards fell on turn or river. The duece helped no one here, most of all you...I guess I bet 1/2 pot and hope for some callers.

Re: Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
Checking the flop in most cases is okay. If you look like a LAG luckbox, then I think you get more from the rocks by betting $6 or so here. As played, lead the turn. Sure you might get villain to bluff a small amount by checking, but you have to risk winning a small pot to build a large one.
Also, if you always slow play your monsters you will never get paid with them. I always get a kick when I see this type of hand generate a $10 pot (which only gets to $10 on the river because of a 'value' bet) and hero has 99 and villain has 69 |

Re: Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
As an alternative, overbet this - like 50-60ish
You have an image for this play Maybe they think you think ace high is good here? With the wimpy betting so far in this hand, the overbet looks like a bluff. If they fold, you still have the laggy image without showing the monster - benefits your next monster. Thoughts? |

Re: Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
A huge overbet only really allows a 6, or overpair to proceed, imo.

Re: Flopped a Full House.....Missed betting opportunities ?
If you think the table is likely to disrespect an over bet than go for it. You will either fold out everyone, get raised/pushed by a 6 or over pair. It is a weapon to have in the arsenal, but one whose use is limited to specific situations and I agree this could be one.
