So who do you think are the best $50+5 players, Slim?

[/ QUOTE ]

Other than me of course... Anyone who is a regular and doesn't obviously suck (and they're easy to spot even after as few as 100 tournaments) can be considered a "good" player. Eh, they're all just players. They do stuff. You do stuff back. The stuff you do depends on the stuff they do, and so on.

I won't purposely sit to the left of anyone I think understands proper bubble play. Other than that, any seat will do.

1) I don't think that's what I said, and I promise you that's not what I meant.
2) People get so wrapped up in trying to control every aspect of a game where 98% of the short-term success and 80% of the "long-term" success is the result of random chance. Most of the rest of that 20% you can control doesn't have a thing to do with table selection, so your effort is better spent elsewhere.

It's hard to say. I run into the guys who are at the top of the leaderboard a lot, but they don't even seem that good.

Some who I would say are solid are XxTabiasxX, ShipItHolla, and ThaCaumFlipa.

But as was said in this thread, I don't really fear the massive multitablers. I just know if they show strength early in the tourney to run and sometimes try to be more aggro against them on the bubble b/c they prob have tighter calling ranges and can't follow along as easily.

I don't understand the point of this thread. If you played any amount of $55's you will find out very quickly who the best players are. Like someone said earlier if you played 100 you would have a decent list.

XxTabiasXx is a 2p2'er - and one who has played the $215s before, so that's no surprise; ShipItHolla can often be found in the $109s as well, and yeah, he's decent.

its really hard to stay away from tables when its late at nite or early in the mourning....i play with so many multi-tablers....XxTabiasXx, rsu_27, black_jak111....those are some of the names that pop up in my mind....but for the most part there are still players with many leaks...

I avoid a couple of them. Not gonna say who. I try to maximize the dead money on the table.
