Blind Defense

I am looking for some general advice regarding defending your blinds. I know it depends on your read of the player that is raising as well as their stack size, position, your stack size, etc, but in general, what hands will you call with and what hands will you raise with when you are in the BB. Let's assume that the blinds are at 50/100 and your stack is at 2000.
