Default Dual monitor question that I couldn\'t find in FAQ/seach.

Searched through all the great material provided by lorinda, but never saw this idea addressed.

Most of the dual monitor questions that are answered see to be for two identical monitors, but I've been thinking...

I have the new LCD, but can I also have my old 17" CRT as a second monitor for Mozilla/IM etc.? Does the resolution have to be the same as the primary monitor for the second one? Would the different size create a conflict for the desktop or whatever?

Sorry if this is elementary, but just wanted to make sure and have no experience in such matters.

You can use any 2 monitors. Resolution can be whatever you please on each.

Is there a post that gives guidelines on using 2 monitors on 2+2?

Thanks
