playing preflop pocket pairs as Ed Miller advices
I am playing pocket pairs at small stakes games as from Small Stakes Holdem (r)
AA-TT usually raise (from any position) 99-77 limp in. Now my statistics (2000 hands, 2.5 weaks is) The best hand of all ;-) AA +5,66 BB/Hand JJ is near at the top: +3,28 BB/Hand QQ-KK came < 10 times, but are in plus. but.... the worst are: TT -3,23BB/Hand (11 hands) 99 -2,65BB/Hand (16 hands) ... 88 -1,65BB/Hand (13 hands) Is that only bad luck, or am i missing somthing in concept? i am playing aggresive with TT, and somewhat aggresive with 99-88. thanks in advance for your tips |

This is like asking, "So I flipped a coin 3 times, and it came up tails every time. Is that bad luck?"
Repost this, if necessary, after 20,000 hands. And be prepared to see the same comment. Some people don't think your numbers will mean anything until you're above 100,000 hands. |

2,000 hands won't tell you anything. As for performance of any particular hand as a winner or loser, how it is played postflop will determine it's profitability. Just aggressively playing TT can't make it a winner.
