Default The winner at monte carlo

Phil Ivey wins (not the FSN tournament).

first thing he says: "is this a million in euros?"

good to see him take it down after messing up last year.

Last year was hardly messing up. He got knocked out by making a great call and then losing to either a OESD or a gutshot I think

Think maybe you could not post the name of the winner in the title so that those people still watching it could have a little suspense in their dreary lives?

I'm certain the OP was referring to the tournament yesterday, not the tournament that that was aired live over FSN earlier today.

The tournament was pretty bad. Once it got past the first half, it was basically all-in after all-in. Whoever got the best cards in the best spots, won. I liked the fact that it was live though, it made it somewhat interesting.

Yeah, when they doubled the blinds at the end from 10-20k to 20-40k that was a little crazy. If they wanted to finish in under 4 hours they shouldn't have had everybody start out so deep stacked, no one got knocked out for like 2 hours, then they just started doubling the blinds fast so they could finish.
I thought it was fun to watch though.
