A)Raise preflop.
B)Since you didn't, cap the flop yourself. It's not as if you're going to make a flush draw fold.
C)Since you didn't, raise the turn. It's not as if you're going to make a flush draw fold.
D)...I like your river?

Each time you clicked a button other than "raise" you can count it as a mistake.

Nobody raised preflop. The likelihood of AA is slim. Cap it.

Turn: the 3 should not scare you at all. In fact you should hope someone else has 33. Raise and cap it if you are 3-bet.

River: Perfect.

Nice hand.

Did I play this the right way?

No.

Preflop. You gave up value by not raising.

Flop. In a multiway pot, you want to get as many bets in on the flop as possible, fortunately your opponents did it for you.

Turn. Raise, when it is your turn.

River. Nice raise, about time.

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.

Preflop: Raise. Build yuor pot, yuor going to need trips to win with this many callers. So get the money in now. So yuo get lots of chasers and action When trips fall.

Flop: I like the c/r play ,but not with flush chasers likely. Bet out and hope for early position raiser.

Turn: Raise, Try to push the 4 flushers out.

Flop: Why raise now? By calling yuo might get 2 more callers. yuo risk 1 bet to get 3 bets here. Yuor raise pushed out 2 potentual callers. Instead yuo put up 4 bets to gain 4 bets.( without the nuts)?

Thanks guys for your comments.

I have alot to learn as you can see.

My thoughts as the hand was happening were this:

I know I should have raised pre flop but what usually happens is an overcard or two falls on the flop.

I didnt bet right out on the flop because I was hoping to trap some other players.

I feel as though I really should have raised on the turn.

Thanks again for any comments. This is a great place to learn.

I'm going to comment on this one, because you are missing out on something important here.

I know I should have raised pre flop but what usually happens is an overcard or two falls on the flop.

You are in a multiway pot here, I don't remember exactly how many players were in, but it isn't important. You are thinking as if you want to put bets in, only when you are likely to win the pot. But what you really want to do, is put in bets when you are the MONEY favorite to win. If you went to the horse track, and you knew that a horse was going to win one out of four races it ran, how much money would you bet on it, if it was paying 6 to 1. If you could find a horse like that in every race, would you ever leave the track? Pocket jacks might win one out of every four hands in a multiway pot, why not back them with a little more money?

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.

Raise the turn--neither SB nor UTG+1 are going anywhere.

Everybody knows the correct way to play pocket jacks. Raise before the flop. Fold on the flop.
