Re: Results and my thoughts
It wasn't the flop that scared me so much, I mean if BB has AA or QQ, good for him. The turn, however, terrified me.

Re: Results and my thoughts
I said before that I would bet the turn and I still think that's the case. The call/cap flop line from MP2 is usually a flush draw or a set, and a player with his stats isn't limping with QQ/AA/AQ, nor do I think he is openlimping with A7s. Also, the BB has more combinations of AK/AJ/ATs than AA/QQ/AQ, and, I've got someone giving me value with what I believe is a draw behind him, hence I bet and seriously consider 3-betting the turn...

Re: Results and my thoughts
I agree I should have considered an extra bet on the turn, but AJ and ATs are not in the BB's hand range. Like never. The only hand of his i'm beating on the turn is exactly AK.

I wasn't all that in love with the flop, for obvious reasons. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Results and my thoughts
I guess its too late to edit. While I enjoyed flopping a set, potentially having another one on top of me made me a little uneasy. Give me a A-7-4 flop or something like that, i'd i'm doing cartwheels. an A-Q-7 flop could mean I'll get a lot of action from AK/AQ, but also means i'll get none from KK and will get pummelled by AA and QQ. So it wasn't a "bad" flop, but wasn't a great one either.
The turn sucked. lf |
