Default 3/6 AA gets tricky on flop.

The all-in Villain is 22/5.5/4.5 and likely a winning player at this level. The other guy is kinda zany, so that's why I went for the CR on the flop. How's my play in the hand?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

UTG+1 ($755.10)
MP1 ($1656.15)
Hero ($605.40)
MP3 ($582)
CO ($429.75)
Button ($619.30)
SB ($687.20)
BB ($74.25)
UTG ($613.05)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $24</font>, MP3 calls $24, CO calls $24, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>.

Flop: ($81) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, MP3 checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets $42</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $120</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises to $300</font>, CO folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $581.4</font>

You can probably fold to his check/re-raise.

What do you put him on?

I can't see him calling my raise w/ a 7 unless he has quads.

Do you think he's doing this w/ 55?

are you serious? 87s, 67s are obvious calls, I won't even talk about the bad calls that i will make with many other hands that have a 7 in them.

I should have added that I haven't ever seen this particular player call raises with suited connectors.. that's not to say it doesn't happen, though.

So you're advocating a fold as well, I guess.

I'm talking about calling the *preflop* raise with a 7, not the flop raise.

The winning player who checked, then reraised, has you beat.
