I fold also as the insta-bet on the river after the checked turn often indicates he was ready to check raise the turn but you thwarted it. I think this is one of the few online tells which is reasonably reliable. I play it the same.

Smartly played. At first I thought 'turn bet for sure, folding equity must not be too bad', then I saw the preflop action. He's probably got KK waiting for a turn check-raise.

Either way, I think our folding equity is very slim here. We're better off checking, inducing a bluff when we make our hand, and punishing him.

whenever I post hands against TAGs I always hope he'll show up and say 'haha that was you, I pwned you with XX here.' never happens though.
