Default small suited connectors, busy flop and turn

Pre-flop was a mistake. What about the rest? No relevant reads.

I think your pre-flop limp is fine.

This was Empire, actually. Still converts as Party, which is quite misleading.

I fold preflop. 54s is a little low, unlikely to win with middle pair, crappy flush etc, still the chance of a raise behind us.

I fold this on the turn with 2 back to us.

The turn: I'm getting 8-1 immediate pot odds, better than 5-1 worst-case pot odds (if it's capped behind me), plus implied odds, on a flush+gut draw.

I'm only playing 54s from the blinds or from LP after a ton of limpers, it's just not good enough if there is going to be a raise behind us.

I don't think you can play the hand any differently. IMO folding on the turn is not an option, even if you knew it was going to get capped you are getting the right price as you have 30% equity if you are up against a set. You are in trouble if there is a higher flush but given the action that doesn't seem probable.

We have double-gutter + flush draw.

The limp is pretty marginal here.

The rest looks fine.

Fold PF.

Lead out on the Flop.

I didn't read past that...

Only play hands like 54s PF in late position after several limpers. You only had 2 limpers and several players yet to act. Playing 54 suited to a PF raise sucks and should happen very rarely, if ever.
