your going to be playing the same size pot if you raise the flop or lead the turn, but raising the flop is a better option as to not give a free card.

I almost always reraise this preflop. If he's folding everything but AA/KK/AK, I'm reraising any two every single time he opens on the button. I'm also betting the flop because continuation bets are not guaranteed and 17 cards on the turn make me want to throw up (11 clubs, 3 aces, 3 spades). There are a ton of hands you don't want to give free cards to that a non-sucky player would check behind here with.

If you lead a wide range of flops people won't be folding every time or you will find yourself rich.

If you are worried that they will fold by betting then CR. If they are going to fold to your turn bet when you are beating them then you are giving them a free card. There is no such thing as a player charging themselves.

I raise the flop big becasue the player you describe would also make this play with a draw.

The "he charged himself" argument doesn't make sense to me. He didn't bet becasue he was drawing, in the same way that he might call the same bet if you had opened the flop. If this is a CB, then he bet because he thought he had enough fold equity against you to make the bet +EV.

I'm with Ghazban here but I find your line interesting though when multi-tabling I don't think I have the stomach for it.

Just to clarify: I only meant postflop. Preflop I'm re-raising 110% of the time.
