Default Please Dont make me go back to IE

i use firefox, just upgraded to 1.0.1 and it is timing out all the time now, or saying it cant find the webpage i am trying to load.........i have xp, a cable modem, SWM 5'11" with a tattoo of a squirel reaching up for nuts on my inner thigh.

PLEASE HELP

Often this is caused by a firewall that is intercepting requests to a DNS server. Are you using a firewall. If so, which firewall are you using and do you have a log of blocked calls?

I have seen this a few times with Firefox, it may be due to the cache. Clear out your cache and history and try again. Rebooting your cable modem and router (if you are using one) may also help.

i have the windows sp2 firewall. and avg anti virus software.

I doubt SP2's firewall is blocking anything - though it is possible. I would suggest you go over to the FireFox forum:

They will probably be able to answer your questions very quickly.
