Default Party Poker Companion

Is there an opinion on this software?

Frankly, this is starting to get uncomfortable to me even through there are many shortcomings.

But I can see the fish using this and playing much better, even if it can't take into account your oppenent, table image, etc...

This tells you to check, call or raise and is just one step away from a bot.

what are your thoughts on this?

hmmm...

no opinions or is this horse been beat to death?

I would think that software that shows your card ranking, outs, percent chance of winning, and the action you should take in real time would garner some discussion.

A friend of mine pointed this out to me. In my opinion it doesn't offer much to most 2+2'er's who know how to play. But for the fish who use it, it would certainly make them more aware of what the "math" behind hold 'em is.

Even if there were bots, I don't have a problem with it really.

Bots do math. If someone knows the math behind the poker then they shouldn't have much trouble with a bot, especially if they KNOW their opponent is a bot. Then they can try to figure out its pattern and play accordingly.
