Perfect Poker

How much could you win (BB/hand or BB/100) if you could see everyone's cards? Assume that they don't know you can see them and play normally. Also assume that they never catch on to the fact that you win virtually every time you show down a hand. Finally, assume you have perfect mathematical knowledge of every situation, i.e. you know your pot equity and draw odds and those of every player still in the hand, and you are able to take into account the dead cards in the folded hands.

Would you still fold most hands, knowing you had the worst of it, or would you play a lot more hands, knowing you would be able to take full advantage of post flop situations?

For all the weight players on this site put on win rate, I think it would be interesting to know what the theoretical maximum would be. And theoretically, you could play perfect poker if you knew everyone's cards.

You really don't have to respond if you think the post is stupid.

I probably would at least fold 32o if I saw AA and AA ready to cap it after me.

My guess is 100 BB/100 at .5/1 party.

You could just go all in on every hand and see if you win and let us know. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] But you should probably do that on play money. Just in case.

No, that doesn't let you play theoterically perfect poker. Suppose you are heads up against someone on the turn and by seeing his cards, you know that he is drawing dead against you. You are guaranteed to win. He bets. What should you do? Maybe you raise and he folds when he would have paid you off on the river if you just called. Maybe you just call to try to keep him in when you would have made more money by raising. Even though you know his cards, you don't know how he is going to act, so you can still make mistakes that someone who understand this opponent better wouldn't. So you aren't playing "perfectly". Maybe it lets you do what is game thoeretically correct agaisnt a given opponet, but figuring that out is very hard so, again, just knowing his cards doesn't guarantee you will play "perfectly".
