Default Please comment on these 2 hands

These are two hands that I recently played at my local casino. Im still new to no-limit and dont know if my thinking was correct or not. After I played the hands I kept thinking I should have played them differently.

The game was $100. max buy-in with $1.00 and $2.00 blinds.

I had around $95.00 for the first hand.

There was a guy that jumped out to an early lead on everyone by playing almost every hand and drawing out on people for the first hour or so. He got his stack up to about 5 or 6 hundred.

I was dealt AKh on the button. The big stack was 2 off the big blind. He opened for $10.00, which he was doing almost every hand. One guy called and then I raised to $40 hoping that one or both would fold. Both of the blinds folded, the big stack called and the other guy folded.

The flop came JJ6 with two hearts. The big stack goes all in right away. I figured he was bluffing and thought he figured I would fold. I called with my remaining $45.00. He flips over Q5 of hearts. The turn and river were rags and I won.

Should I have even called his all-in?

He was one of these guys that thought he could intimidate people with his money.

I got him on another hand later on when I slow played a flopped set of 6's. The flop was J62. He checked on the flop and so did I, hoping the guy on the button would bet and I could trap both of them. (Is this correct?) But the button checked as well. The turn was a 2, giving me a full house. The big stack guy bets $50 and I go all in with $240 or something and everyone folded.

Should I have just called here hoping someone would bet on the river?

Sorry if these are stupid questions, but Im not sure of the way I played them.

Thanks for any comments,
-Steve

hand 1: You had a good read on the bettor, so good call.

hand 2: You were a huge favorite and very unlikely (although possible) to be outdrawn on. So maybe you played it a little too fast. Not a bad move to go all-in if you thought you would get a caller. I think a smaller re-raise for value in that spot would've been better.
