Even if ratings are down, that doesn't mean people are playing less. I watch a lot less poker on TV than I used to, but still play the same amount.

Same here except I play more now, but last year I watched every poker show i could find, this yr the only show I am trying to make a point to watch is the WSOP main event.

eh...but to me, i'd only have to go through, what? 1300 players or so to get the money, instead of 5,000...

i honestly think MOST players go there aiming for the money...like people have said, a lot get there from online satellites, and hitting the money to them doesn't mean coming out even, it means $10,000...

first post. hello all, i've read this site for months, and finally decided to post. not necessarily because of this particular thread, but i guess the time had come...

a lurker no more.
