actually I would have made the crying call in the heat of battle but against an unknown I'm not sure it's right. luckily I usually have a read.

Against a laggy button who has been floating on me, I like to check raise the turn, not check call. I think it buys more free rivers/showdowns later on. The common 10/20 LAG is calling down a check raise with very little here.
