Final Pot: 9.20 BB

The villain is the reason I'm in the game. He's very loose, passive pre-flop but will bet his hand on later streets. I think I might be able to let this go after his flop c/r, but I didn't, so what do I do once I'm here. All comments welcome and appreciated.

The only reason I dont 3bet the flop is if I want to raise the turn.

This is like never a made flush raising on the flop. Typically a pair or an 8 or Nearnut flushdraw imo.

The way you played it I fold the river.

Yeah, after playing with the guy some more, I would agree that 3-betting the flop is the way to go. That said, say I 3-bet the flop, what's my action afterwards? I'm still deathly afraid of the flush card, but the pot is bigger and do I never want to fold to what I think is the worst card coming off the top of the deck?

Bet

If a heart comes on either street I bet fold.

If I get donked on the heart I raise, call down or fold depending on my read.

Raise the turn. Check behind this river (or fold if donked, I think)
