Default Q6s in BB how bad am I?

Motor City Casino 10-20 Donkfest 10 players

MP3 is a tightish raiser preflop, but, seems to raise my BB more than others. But, after 4 limpers, I know he has a legit hand here. I've seen him bet naked AK-AJ on this flop before with many limpers in the hand.

When he raised preflop, his range is 99-AA, AK-AJ, and ATs

That's about all he would raise with there.
Hip is BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

4 Limps, MP3 raises, 1 cold call, 3 folds, Hip calls, 4 calls

Flop (7 players) 14SB

4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

4 checks, MP3 bets, HJ calls, Hip calls, 2 folds, 2 calls.

Turn (5 players) 9.5BB

7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Check to MP3 who bets, HJ folds, I call, the rest fold

River (2 players) 11.5BB

Hip bets,

What do you think

Paying one into a likely 14 sb pot pre-flop and then getting 16-1 on the flop (with little chance of a raise behind) I'm sort of wondering where I might find a fold. You only need 3 outs on the flop to peel off the turn.

It certainly isn't pretty, but I guess I'll tentatively right this off with a simple "nice hand"...

Does your read peg him on a big pair with the turn bet? If so, I don't understand why you didn't attempt a river checkraise. Otherwise, good bet.

MP3 and I have a long history together. When he bets the turn, I know he doesn't have AK or AQ anymore. He knows I know this. He knows I'm calling with a newfound club draw, or a 4. He isn't betting this river with anything other than 7's full or 8's full. That's why I bet the river, and I would simply call a raise.

Screw it, I like it. You had odds on the flop and the turn. I like the river bet. I don't like preflop, but given the donkfest nature of the table I think your implied odds make up for it.

This seems like a really easy call to me.

Awesome, then. Even 65 gets there on the river.

Your flop call is awfully close given the fact that you're drawing to two ugly backdoors and a Queen that often isn't good. A checkraise by any of the limpers is going to destroy your odds -- I'd probably call if I could pick up some sort of disinterested tell from them that suggested no c/rs coming from them.

I think the only somewhat questionable street is the flop, since I don't know if your Q outs really count for much. but getting 16+:1, it's probably okay.

Fine play pre-flop and good on the flop if you are sure you are not going to be raised. It is kind of an ugly hand but you did not play badly.
Definitely bet out on the river. If he has an overpair like he is representing then I don't see him betting the river. He will check behind you if you check to him.
Nice hand.
