Default Early doubling up in a live rebuy tourny, now what?

Live tourny, unlimited rebuys for the first two periods, no addon. I'm at a pretty tight table, but manages to double up in the first couple of minutes with a set.

So now what? My game turned weak tight, I blinded down to about 1.7 starting stack when the rebuy period ended, which was about average stack. It wasn't like I folded a lot of great cards, I didn't get any, but on the other hand, I wasn't taking any chances, and I wasn't going out of my way to blind steal.

How far is this from correct play in a rebuy tournament? My thoughts were that it would be crap to lose my extra chips and go down to a buyin when I couldn't reload anyways, but had to lose it all first.

This might not be the most coherent post ever, but I hope for enlightening answers.
