You could announce the first round pairings. That would do something to get the smack talk flowing.

Have you boys worked out room arrangements? I bought a RT for 1 Sept - 4 Sept & my friends all bailed.

Don't you ever get tired of coming up with good ideas?...so far your only "bummer" was the whole SlackerMcFly deal

I do what I can to give back to my Peeps.

My favorite three year old could draw names out of a hat, and I could post the bracket if the TD gives me the go-ahead.

Yeah, I would like to do that... but I don't think it can happen. Experience has taught me that we will not know the exact "players" for the tournament until the day of. People are flakes.

The O/U on the number of people who have paid, but don't show up is 1.5.

The line on Gigabet showing up is -125.

Rojosox will be there to claim a vacant spot, and Skipperbob will play if Giga no-shows. So, we'll have 16 players... but I will save the draw for the day of.

Pretty sure that TD plans on a "seeded" tourny such that the $200 players are playing a $500 player in the first round...Don't know if he plans on any other subjective criteria....I had to pay extra to get Yugo in 1st round

Default STTFU-HUC current roster, buy-ins, and prize pool.

LABOR DAY HU TOURNAMENT ROSTER

1. Skipperbob (paid $500)
2. Irieguy (paid $500)
3. Raptor (paid $500)
4. Zen (paid $500)
5. Daliman (paid $500)
6. Usher (paid $500)
7. Unarmed (paid $200)
8. Mosdef (paid $200)
9. Wuwei (paid $200)
10. Yugo (paid $200)
11. Ilya (paid $200)
12. John Hurst (paid $500)
13. JohnnyBeef (paid $177, owes 23)
14. Apathy (paid $500)
15. ImSoLucky (paid $500)
16. Lacky (paid $200)

Total Prize Pool: $5900

Lacky has vowed to upgrade his buy-in, so the prize pool is really $6200.

Gigabet is supposed to take Skipperbob's spot.

JohnnyBeef still owes a few bucks because of a transfer limit problem, not because he's a stooge.

Rojosox will fill in for whomever flakes. If nobody flakes, Rojosox will want to buy somebody's spot. If Giga no-shows, Rojo will buy skipper's spot.

If I get enough requests to draw for the first round pairings in spite of the flake factor... we can do it. In that case, no-show fill-ins will inherit the draw of the player they replace.
