What is the home.lagrange.edu login for?

I know you guys are getting the login popup too.

Why is it popping up?
For what purpose does it serve?
What is the deeper meaning of this popup?

Two possible explanations:

1. It's the server where RocketManJames' avatar is hosted which requires a password to log in to. It is almost certainly not a security threat.
2. This experience of a login popup that you are perceiving is not an objective view of the world and it is not actually happening.
