Mexican Coke
No not the powder stuff.
I'm talking about Coca Cola. Did anything try Mexican Coke? I hear that it is made with real sugar. I'm trying to get my hands on some to try it out. |

Re: Mexican Coke
Yes, it's still made with real sugar like Coke used to be before they switched to corn syrup. This is why when you go to authentic Mexican food the glass bottle drinks taste so good.

Re: Mexican Coke
People in L.A. can buy sugar-Coca Cola at Galco's Soda Pop Stop of Glendale. They are apparently a source for all sorts of hard to find sodas. I have never been there, but read an article in a local magazine. They also mail order sell too.

The coke I get at supermarkets in connecticut is made with real sugar. [/ QUOTE ] It's made with high fructos corn syrup. Coke from Mexico is made with cane sugar. You may be able to find cane sugar coke right now though. Since it's Passover, Coke sells kosher versions of Coke (from what I understand, since corn syrup is made with a grain, it isn't kosher.) Look for 2 liter bottles with a yellow top & a kosher symbol. |
