If you had money in neteller you wanted to cashout, could you deposit at party then cashout through them?
Avoiding that 1.9% fee would be HUGE.

Right now:

Party Rate = 1.2393
www.xe.com = 1.23343

At Party, you get a rate HIGHER than the realtime exchange rate!! (or maybe it's just lagged by one day or something)

[/ QUOTE ]

I called and spoke with Party about this and they claim they use the exact rate you see on XE.com. I think you just witnessed a bit of lag here.

I transferred $5000 to party a couple weeks ago intending to use this. I deposited the money to party in $500 increments though, to accumulate the party points and left the money there for 7 days. I just withdrew from party to my bank on Thursday and nothing there yet. I assume Ill have it in a couple days. I called neteller to see the exact rate they were offering just to see the difference at the same time. I got 1.2393 with party and neteller would have been 1.2157. A pretty big difference at 2.36% and $118 CDN. Plus I got enough party points from the transaction to get a styling party suede jacket!

My suede jacket is on the way. I'm planning on making a withdrawal on Friday--I remember reading something about not making withdrawals of over 2000, because it gets flagged and takes longer to process. Is this true?

I hadnt heard that. It may explain why the money hasnt hit my bank account yet. Although it has only been 4 days, 2 of them being on the weekend... I figure Ill give it to this Thursday before I start asking questions.

I should add that when I withdrew $5000 from party they sent me the confirmation email as if I had made 3 withdrawals. ($2,350, $2,350 and $300). So perhaps $2,350 is the cap you are referring to and they broke it up for me to avoid any extra hassles involved?

I received the money to my BMO account today. It took 5 days (3 business days) to do the withdrawal from party.

Yes, most definitely.
It's a good move.

Good to hear. Has anyone else used this without disastrous results? I'm probably going to make a cashout sometime next week.
