not really, but the pot is big enough where I do not want to fold the turn UI and giving myself 5/6ish outs, I am not going to have the correct pot odds to call the turn. Also I would prefer it if people were not donking into me all the time, and raising them is usually a good deterent.

I'm just curious, when I made the flop call, did I have equity to do so? I counted 4 outs for a 10 to 1 gutshot?

If you get check-raised you can pretty easily throw your hand away.

don't listen to this, give in and do the crying call if check raised.

i think that raising the flop and free carding is a decent idea.

yeah you did.

i'm having trouble counting the Ace outs for much: they all complete an OESD, and the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is troublesome (though perhaps not as much so as the T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], b/c it would take out one of the likely flush drawing hands [Ax]). So you have maybe 1.5 Ace outs and 3.5 for the tens so about 5 total.

I also agree with Adam22: your options are checking and bet/calling.

[note: delete the word "texas" at the 1/2 texas hold em line when you put the HH into bison's converter].

If this table was playing like the typical rock garden of Party 1/2, I would check the river here.

There are so many other draws out there besides flush draws that I am betting that river regardless of how many callers you had.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a reason to check the river? Like the only hand that will call you is a hand that beats you (at Party 1/2, .5/1 is a different story). I think it's obvious to the villans that hero has a least AJ.
