I can think of many hands that a LAG would play in this fashion and very few of them are ahead of hero. Yes against this type of player TP2K is worth all my chips. I've noticed a theme in your posts of always fearing better hands, you really need to get over this if you're going to play NL. JMO

Ok. So should I assume that there is no one perfect line for NLH? It's more of a game that you learn from just playing a ton?

There are perfect lines when you have better information, but you dont here. Without the best of reads its a game of heuristics (especially if multitabling) where you need to be able to exploit general playing tendencies and you will develop these quasi-perfect lines from playing a lot and reading/thinking about the game.

I don't think it's that I am scared. I just don't have a good feel for this game right now. It's getting better pretty fast.

Against certain lags I like your whole line

For instance, if he's the type of lag who always bets if checked to, but will not call or raise a bet without a good hand, then it makes perfect sense to check/call down

Although the read 'villian is a lag' is not enough of a read for me to choose a line here. I might instead lead turn, or fold river depending on exactly what kind of lag villian is

Calling down a LAG who you believe is bluffing and that you have the best hand, is fine. Let them bet, and keep calling. If you think villian had JQ and was drawing to a straight then this was a terrible line, as you need to bet enough to make it a mistake for him to continue drawing.

A lag could also put him on a flush draw and be charging with something like QQ or JJ or even KJ and expecting you to fold that river when no diamond hits. Only reason to call down here is to let a worse hand bet, which is what I hope happened. Obviously if you called the turn you're calling the river.
