Default Best Christmas present you got

The Complete Calvin and Hobbes - excellent - all three volumes and 25 pounds of it.

Every man should own a transmorgrifier at some point in life.

Growing up in the 50's, my parents who were children of the great depression, were pretty frugal and practical. So at xmas it was usually one toy and clothes. Man did I hate getting clothes for xmas.

But one year, my father's business boomed and they loosened up a bit. So that year I got a pool table and a ping pong table. Man was I excited. That was a great xmas.

Handycam. It was an early present from my parents since they are now grandparents and want video of their granddaughter.

That was a very nice gift.
