Aces in limit O8
Is tossing horrible aces in earlier position something that is commonly recommended? Say you have AA86 rainbow UTG, is this ever a muck? I have been tossing this hand because there is virtually no low draw, and it's high properties are not very appealing. Many times Aces up will not be good enough, and alot of times when you flop a set you usually need to fill up if there is another low card out with the ace. I just don't feel it is a profitable hand, but because I mostly play PLO I feel like I am doing something wrong/weak by mucking this.

Re: Aces in limit O8
Yeah, the aces look pretty, but I've been learning to fold a hand like that when I'm UTG. You're looking for a miracle flop, you're probably going to give up half the pot to a low draw, and you're probably not going to have very good pot odds for anything, since you have half the aces, you may not get any callers.
If you do play it from UTG, you might consider a raise hoping to steal or get heads up with the BB. |

Re: Aces in limit O8
The best you can do with AA(garbage) is make top set or a shitty low that will get beat. Try to stay away from it unless you can see the flop for really cheap, or multiple people are getting into the action for a low-moderate cost.
