Default Monotone flop & Paired board (I push river with straight)

This felt so right at the time. Comments anywhere are always appreciated.

Default Re: Monotone flop & Paired board (I push river with straight)

I like it, I think. I've been experimenting with pushing in situations a little different than this, where there is loose villian that doesn't want to fold (e.g., Ax, here), and the push can be interpreted as defensive (e.g., pushing draw heavy flop w/ a set after villain bets into me (where TP, 2 pair or draw are possible).

What's different and scary about this situation is that you don't have read on villain (do you?) and you showed strength on the turn. If he is loose/calling station then I like it. Otherwise, I'm a little concerned that he has AK diamonds or something donkish that still wins.
