They keep putting us through this hell daily with mock press conferences of each of the top teams in the league. Whoever decided to do this should be shot.

The Cubs one was way worse, mostly because I hate the cubs and also because Steve Phillips is a douchebag. Someone asks him about Dusty's job security, and he is like "WELL, Dusty is my manager so stop questioning him."

I like the idea of projecting what teams WILL do and what teams NEED to do. Except it's Steve Phillips. He was fired as GM of the Mets. he has zero authority to speak on the actions of successful GMs. Cut the speculation and wait for December before stoking the 'hot stove'

I watched one of these for about 5 minutes and it felt very awkward. Like the people there who were real reporters knew how lame this was but they had to do it because it's their job. It was sad in a way.

Does anybody really think that these mock press conferences are a great idea? Nothing really gets said in real press conferences anyway, so why would you want to do a fake one? It's a strange and goofy idea.
