Personally, I'd like to see Charlie Rose do the interview. Long, rambling pontifications punctuated by dramatic pauses where Moneymaker will think it's his turn to speak, only to have Rose reformulate his already incomprehensible question. If Farha had Rose's ability to befuddle, he would have broken Moneymaker down and made that "crazy call."

LOL...Good call.

That's pretty funny...even though I actually like Charlie Rose a lot.

Rather interviewing Moneymaker should be touted as 'The Battle of the Drawls'

Not really an oxymoron. Every reporter, good and bad, is somewhat biased. What would an "unbiased" editorial stance really be? The exact, up-to-the minute median of the political spectrum? That's impossible. It doesn't bother me at all if a reporter is biased, as long as they are good. I'm a liberal, but I appreciate good reportage from anywhere on the spectrum. The Wall Street Journal is clearly biased to the right, but it's also an excellent paper and I don't mind reading it for its good reporting. FOX news is also biased to the right, but it isn't good reporting (I'm not even sure it's reporting at all, rather commentary). Likewise, I have no doubt that the New York Times is biased to the left, but so what? It's still a great paper full of talented reporters.

Most people don't remember Dan Rather reporting from the jungles of Vietnam or Nixon's Whitehouse. They should, but they don't. Unfortunately he is being remembered for reporting another person's lie. Fox does it all the time.
Playing poker we openly admit to deception. Remember "I never bluff".

Sounds like Rather may be signing up. Look out for "60minutes" at Stars.

As popular as poker has become, they could have Andy Rooney interview Moneymaker and people would still tune in.
Sadly "REAL NEWS" died many years ago.

I can just see Andy Rooney's commentary: "WHY IS IT THE FISH ALWAYS CHASE THEIR GUTSHOT STRAIGHT DRAWS TO THE RIVER??? AND WHAT'S THIS BUSINESS CALLING POCKET QUEENS THE HILTON SISTERS? THEY'VE ALWAYS LOOKED A LOT MORE LIKE THE OLSEN TWINS TO ME..."

"Every reporter, good and bad, is somewhat biased. What would an "unbiased" editorial stance really be?"

You don't seem to understand that there is a difference between reporting and editorializing. Reporting is supposed to be unbiased. Editorials are inherently biased in some way. Rather was a reporter, yet showed his bias. That is the primary reason he is so disliked.

"The Wall Street Journal is clearly biased to the right, but it's also an excellent paper and I don't mind reading it for its good reporting."

Good example for my point as the Wall Street Journal reporting tends to be more centric as it should be (why you probably like it), while the Wall Street Journal editorial page tends to lean right (which is probably why you skip that part).

"Likewise, I have no doubt that the New York Times is biased to the left, but so what? It's still a great paper full of talented reporters."

That point is certainly arguable. As to "so what," how about everything. Don't care how talented they are, I want them to report the facts. If they want to reveal their biases, move them to the editorial page where I can argue with them.

Almost worthless. A complete waste of time. Jennifer looked good as always but that was about it.
