Dude, I _HATE_ how people always talk about weak-tight like it's some sort of disease or something. Personally, I advocate a weak-tight style of play.

How can "weak" NOT be bad? It means that even if your hand can take a raise, your mental fortitude can't. It means that you fold the second nuts for fear of the nuts. It means that you fold AK to a re-raise without super deep stacks. It is not good. That doesn't mean you should never fold or you should become a calling station, but it does mean that people shouldn't be able to blow you off of your hand. Weak is bad. That is all there is to it.
