Default AA way overplayed. How would you play it?

Villain is 45/9. Capable of semi-bluffing with draws. Any help appreciated.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Button ($95.50)
Hero ($101.65)
BB ($43.15)
UTG ($144.78)
MP ($213.75)
CO ($98.50)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, MP raises to $2, 1 fold, Button calls $2, Hero raises to $6, 1 fold, UTG folds, MP calls $4, Button calls $4.

Flop: ($20) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets $15, MP raises to $50, Button folds, Hero raises to $80.65????? (All-In)

reraise more preflop.

I would call you with 67 here preflop.

its a tough fold to make on the flop given your read.

I don't think your flop line is that bad but you really should reraise to at least $8 preflop preferably $10.

I make it 10-15 preflop, and I hate that flop, as it fits a lot of hands that ppl minraise with.

Probably fold to the raise.

From my limited amount of .5/1NL experience, it looks like he doesn't have the made straight or the set. From his PF play, looks like he's the min-raising type, so I think he'd just raise to $30 if he had the straight or a set.

Anyway, as others had said, raise more, $6 is what I'd raise if only the minraiser was in, I'd probably go for $8-$10.

Please explain to this newb: Why would you want to raise so much that the guy would fold? Dont you want him to call your raise so you make more off of him than just his 2 dollars?

you want to raise enough so he'll call but still give bad implied odds should you not be able to get away postflop if he outflops you.

hmm, I just have a hard time seeing anyone calling a 10 dollar raise here except a total maniac. (unless he happens to have another premium hand).

It's also the domino effect that makes this clearly a bigger pre-flop raise. Say you raise to $6, and someone in LP wants to see the flop with 78s, and calls. Folded around to the limpers, the first of which is getting pretty good odds, calling something like $4-5 into already a $16-ish pot. Next limper gets even better odds, etc., etc, soon you've got everyone in for $6 because you jokers all decided to put in mini-raises.

Ok, I guess the consensus here is to raise more pre-flop. I was folding almost every hand for the last half an hour so I guess I was scared that I wouldn't get paid off. (be careful what you wish for!) My thinking on the flop was that it was either push or fold. If i just called, I would only have $30 left OOP with a $120 pot on the turn. I thought a set or two-pair was very likely, but I thought the chances of him having a big pair or a big draw was too big to ignore, so I pushed. He turned over the nut straight and I didn't suck out.

which hands do you do this re-raise with? If you only do this with AA and KK, aren't players starting to fold to your re-raises???
