Low flush 4-Handed
Hey everyone,
I was playing $3/$6 Hold 'Em short-handed and flopped a flush from the big blind. I put the other player on a high heart, which never came. Was my play on all streets correct? I would have raised the turn and/or river had the board not been paired. Thanks, ChipsAhoya PRE-FLOP UTG calls $3, CO checks, Button calls $3, ChipsAhoya checks. FLOP [board cards 5H,3H,KH ] ChipsAhoya bets $3, UTG folds, CO bets $6, Button folds, ChipsAhoya calls $3. TURN [board cards 5H,3H,KH,3D ] ChipsAhoya bets $6, CO bets $12, ChipsAhoya calls $6. RIVER [board cards 5H,3H,KH,3D,6D ] ChipsAhoya bets $6, CO bets $12, ChipsAhoya calls $6. SHOWDOWN in White: <font color="white">CO shows [ 4H,KD ] ChipsAhoya shows [ 7H,2H ] ChipsAhoya wins $70. </font> |

Re: Low flush 4-Handed
Maybe come over the top with a three bet on the turn, let him know you're serious. If he capped, you'd probably have to check call the river.
Why did you interpret his raise as a high heart? |

Re: Low flush 4-Handed
I was going to three-bet the turn but the paired 3 froze me up. In retrospect, that should've have mattered too much... Maybe I didn't want to lose him if he was bluffing... I guess I definitely should have 3-bet the river...
It doesn't take much to raise 4-handed, I thought he might be looking for a free card and/or have something like Ah3 or Ah5... -ChipsAhoya |
