Re: Bubble Shortstack all-in, hero w/ nut flush draw
I would fold I think, but I agree its very unpleasant that the guy just opened allin. |

Re: Bubble Shortstack all-in, hero w/ nut flush draw

Re: Bubble Shortstack all-in, hero w/ nut flush draw
I like it- unless all in dude is nuts, he has a piece... it's a 99% guarantee for ITM, and could be huge heads up. Nice play.

Re: Bubble Shortstack all-in, hero w/ nut flush draw
I agree a pre-flop riase to say t600 would probably be best here to get it headsup.
As it turned out. the short stack hit a set with 55 and the BB had 89 for top pair. The turn bough a diamond and won the hand, knocking both opponents. the BB then went bananas on me for making the play and continued to berate me until I eventually lost the heads-up match. I got a good laugh out of his reaction but it got me thinking if it was really the right call. Without doing the math and ICM on it, I think my flop call was marginal at best, but on the other BB's donk push was well quite horrible. |
