Default Playing the QT

I remember reading (i think in a book about online poker) that you should not play the QT offsuit unless there are 5 in. Can anyone steer me to that book? you can send me e-mail at flyfisherp@yahoo.com if you wish.

Also, any thoughts on the QT off in general

I think that is simplistic advice. I do not know that book.

I want to play QTo, but I do NOT want to pay two bets to do so (unless I am the one doing the raising). For that reason, it is a fold in early-mid position and it is a fold in a game with a maniac raising every pot (unless I think I can get heads up with him). On the other hand, it is prime stealing material if it is folded to me in late position.
